Health Science Privacy Policy
Effective 17 September 2026 · Technical Assemblage LLC
The short version
Health Science collects nothing, transmits nothing, and has no way to do either. The app contains no networking code.
What the app reads
With your permission, Health Science reads health data from Apple Health on your device — the categories you choose, which may include workouts, steps, sleep, resting heart rate and body weight. It reads this data to draw the charts you see, and for no other purpose.
You grant access per category in the Apple Health permission sheet, and you can change or revoke it at any time in Settings ▸ Health ▸ Data Access & Devices ▸ Health Science. Revoking access stops the charts from drawing; nothing else happens.
What the app stores
Nothing but your display preferences — the chosen theme and unit system — which stay in the app's own storage on your device. Health data is read when a chart needs it and is not copied, cached to disk, exported or backed up by the app.
What the app never does
- No account, sign-in or user identifier of any kind.
- No servers: there is no networking code in the app, so no data can be sent anywhere.
- No analytics, crash reporting, telemetry or advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs or libraries.
- Nothing is sold, shared or disclosed to anyone, because nothing is collected.
- Health Science never writes to Apple Health.
Health data and Apple's rules
Health Science uses HealthKit data solely to display it to you inside the app. It is not used for advertising, marketing, data mining or any use-based monetisation, and it is never shared with third parties.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Not medical advice
Health Science draws charts of data you already have. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or advise. Talk to a clinician about anything that matters.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since there is no data collection to change, any revision will be about wording rather than practice.
